This is an original letterpress print in an open edition. Unlike the majority of works offered by St Jude's this is not a limited edition or signed by the artist.
But is it hand letterpress printed in Essex by our friends at Typoretum from Mark's original linocut block and wooden type.
The poster was been designed to commemorate the reopening of York Art Gallery and Mark's curated exhibition 'The Lumber Room: Unimagined Treasures'.
ABOUT OUR ORIGINAL PRINTS
Most of the works we offer are original prints, made using traditional printmaking techniques such as linocut, wood engraving, lithography, screenprint and etching. Each process has its own particular character, from the carved marks of relief printing to the drawn or painterly qualities of lithography and screenprint.
