The London Mudlark
Screenprint – unmounted, unframed
Image size: 790mm x 320mm
Edition size: 25
This is an original limited edition print, signed by the artist.
This print is based on a tiny part of the collected treasure of a modern day London mudlark, borrowed and drew by Julia. From clay pipes, Tudor toys and 16th century green men from the necks of German Bellarmine wine jars, there are waves of London life washed up on Thames beaches everyday. A minute glimpse in the thousands of years of London history
ABOUT OUR ORIGINAL PRINTS
Most of the works we offer are original prints, made using traditional printmaking techniques such as linocut, wood engraving, lithography, screenprint and etching. Each process has its own particular character, from the carved marks of relief printing to the drawn or painterly qualities of lithography and screenprint.
You can read more about the different printmaking methods in our guide to print mediums.
