Paul's second print with The Penfold Press captures the night sky in early November.
"I’ve had the image in my sketchbook for about 20 years and thought it perfect for my second screenprint. It’s slightly bigger than usual and although it has figures in it, they are quite a small part of the image. This time it’s all about what’s going on in the sky – fireworks, shadows and lights created by the bonfire."
ABOUT OUR ORIGINAL PRINTS
Most of the works we offer are original prints, made using traditional printmaking techniques such as linocut, wood engraving, lithography, screenprint and etching. Each process has its own particular character, from the carved marks of relief printing to the drawn or painterly qualities of lithography and screenprint.
