The Alabama Song follows the adventures of Lang, the protagonist of Jobson's 2023 novel, The Kreuzberg Sonata. Haunted by the ghosts of his early years in Berlin, Lang returns to open a whisky bar in his beloved Kreuzberg. It quickly becomes a sanctuary for the city's lost and lonely bohemian misfits - a place where a mixture of strongly held opinions and a love of the golden nectar become a passport to new, unbreakable friendships.
The novel is richly illustrated by Jonny Hannah, who captures the mood and vitality of the stories in a whisky-soaked revelry.
